Users of Windows Vista 64 Bits might have noticed that our gadget is not working properly on their system. More specifically, the audio player is not working. Why is it not working? The answer is simple, Adobe says:
Adobe Flash Player is not supported for playback in a 64-bit browser. However, you can run Flash Player in a 32-bit browser running on a 64-bit operating system.
Here, the browser is the sidebar and if you didn’t change anything it is running in 64 bits mode. So what you have to do is simply to run your sidebar in 32 bits mode – and it will work perfectly… Yes normally you should not have to do this yourself and maybe Adobe (Microsoft?) developers should have thought of something to run the player in 32 bit even if the browser is in 64 bit..?

As you might have seen, we just released the new website. Please bare with us during the first days, there may be few bugs remaining, we are working on it… Notably:
- The compatibility with Internet Explorer 6 has not been verified yet (yeah for sure it will be horrible, as usual…)
- The podcast links are not all working for now
- The gadget for Windows Vista is not working properly on 64 bits systems (see my post to know how to fix the problem with flash in the vista 64 bit sidebar)
- The link to download the vista gadget is broken
If you notice any other bug which is not listed you can let us know with a comment on this page… I will update this post to inform you of new updates.
EDIT of 15/12/2008
Major bugs has been fixed, now only the Podcast section is incomplete - with the iTunes links missing. But don’t worry you can still subscribe manually with the regular link.

Frozenforce 2.0!
That’s it now Frozenforce also has its own blog! Oh yeah we are so soooooo trendy!
More seriously this blog will be an occasion for us to share our thoughts about the music industry of today, our ideas, etc. …and hopefully discuss them with you! We will also use the blog to inform you regularly of all the news related to Frozenforce, upcoming release or events, artists joining Frozenforce.
We chose to use a blog because it is very easy to update for us with a very low need in maintenance, it also allows you to comment our articles and start discussing directly with us. Moreover this blog is generating automatically a RSS Feed that you can subscribe to, to stay updated with all our news. If you don’t know what a RSS Feed is, it is… ok just search on Google! Fortunately for you, you can also subscribe via e-mail to and receive all the news directly in your inbox!
And last we will not bore you with 10 articles a day, but we will update the blog and write new articles on a reasonable and regular basis. So don’t worry if you subscribe by email we are not going to fill your inbox with our mails!
About the blog in itself, we will avoid the PR / Marketing style; instead we will try to keep an objective tone to give you an honest overview of what is happening inside at Frozenforce. So let’s start right now:
There is also another reason we chose to install a blog: search-engines… Yes they like this format so much, we wanted not to miss this opportunity of getting more traffic for the main site. And beside from this fact, visitors can also be interested by our articles (???) and get to know the label and what we are doing… Basically this is a good way to promote the label in offering quality content to our visitors, without the use of massive dirty marketing…
