Swedish Artist Daniel Larsson Joins Frozenforce

June 1st, 2009 by Pierre

FROZENFORCE EXPANDS!
Frozenforce has expanded beyond the genre of trance with the recent addition of musician Daniel Larsson and his project Cryonik. Larsson brings a gothic and industrial/rock sound to the label’s artistic arsenal. His debut release, a three-song EP entitled Soulcure[d], is a musical panacea for all frozen souls.

WE HAVE FOUND A CURE FOR YOUR SOUL!
Soulcure[d] is our next release on Frozenforce.

The EP will contain three tracks:
01. Soulcure[d]: The original from Larsson’s project Cryonik
02. Soulcure[d] (Leinender Remix): A trance-remix by Leinender
03. Let’s Go Zero: Second original track off Daniel’s Cryonik project

The new EP will be released on June 29th and available for free download on our site. More info and extracts are available on the release page.

MORE ABOUT FROZENFORCE:
Soulcure[d] is the first release for Frozenforce that with a gothic/industrial edge. The EP also represents a new global direction for the label for the long term. Until now, Frozenforce has been known for being “only” a trance label. However, we are now covering new ground, and are particularly interested in metal/gothic/industrial styles. All these genres and sub-genres have different ways of delivering strong and emotional messages through music, and our goal is to build a small community of similar-minded artists. Frozenforce is a creative glacier with a “sound” that is forever flowing, growing, and changing. It is strong, frigid, powerful and moving with music that freezes your heart.

Server issues

April 9th, 2009 by Pierre

We had several issues with the Frozenforce server during this month and the previous one that have made the site inaccessible.

These issues have also impacted on our email system, which could have caused some of the mails not being received.

If you are expecting a response from us since a little while, you might want to send your mail a second time in case it would not have been received.

I greatly apologize for the inconvenience caused.

Vincent Licata - Phase Eleven

Vincent Licata - Phase Eleven

Vincent Licata is now officially joining Frozenforce to release his new single Phase Eleven, which will be publicly released on Thursday 15th of January.

After a long 20+ years career, the Belgian DJ finally decided to meet up with music production again, recently giving birth to Phase Eleven - an outstanding uplifting trance track. It could have been difficult to produce something new in a genre that is over-exploited since long but Vincent Licata definitely managed to create a track meant to be noticed.

Ferry Corsten - One steap ahead?

Ferry Corsten live at LA Arena

Ferry Corsten live at LA Arena

I barely listen to Ferry’s music twice in a blue moon (I had to do this one), but he always has his own style and I always appreciated that, even if I have never been a very huge fan of his music, I admit.

His new album “Twice in a Blue Moon” has been released two month ago on the first of November. A copy felt into my hands some time ago and I must say that I have been very impressed by the quality of his work. I realized that Ferry Corsten - as opposite to many other top djs / producers - managed somehow to maintain consistency in his style along the years. The single Brainbox has been notably what I consider as a “lesson for the industry”, it sounds like nothing else, it’s new and completely different… basically it’s not sounding as it should.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

December 26th, 2008 by Pierre

Christmas is just finishing and 2008 is already ending… everything has happened so fast I can’t believe that another year is gone. I hope all of you have spent a good Christmas and I wish you all the best for 2009!

I know it’s not really an easy time for some of you depending on your industry as economy is little down in some sectors… But I want to say it’s up to you to make a difference, just don’t lose hope, believe in what you do and see on the positive side. We all probably needs to work harder to make things happen, personally I never really took any complete holiday since more than 2 years, I just cannot afford to stop answering to my mails for one week or more - but that’s ok because I like what I do, I believe in it, I believe in Frozenforce. So I don’t mind to be sitting in front of my computer all day even on Christmas, things will not come by itself I have to work for it and I don’t see any better satisfaction in life than seeing directly the results of my work… And I know it’s the same for most of my friends and partners whatever their industry is – record label owners, internet marketers, etc. They all have something in common: they have a business they believe in and they like to work for it. What I want to say is that working can also be a pleasure, and if your start to see your work as a pleasure instead of a duty, your life will be completely changed!
